Chatlain Park

Chatlain Park is located at 6300 Carter Avenue. One of Merriam's most active and beautiful parks, named for John Chatlain who served as a Merriam City Council member for 31 years. This park provides an access point to the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail.

In early 2015, patrons of Merriam Parks and Recreation were asked to vote for their favorite playground design for Chatlain Park. The winner was "Climbing Oasis". In addition, Merriam Parks, Recreation and Community Center Foundation has donated new benches for the playground area.
